Delete an Agent configuration policy
Suppose that you have two policies: a corporate policy with an unlocked Desktop Notification setting of "Show only errors and warnings" and a Finance group policy that overrides it with a locked "Don't show desktop notifications" setting. Based on these policies, users in the Finance group do not receive any Agent notifications and cannot set a custom notifications setting through Agent preferences. However, if you delete the Finance group policy, the system re-evaluates the corporate policy's effect on Finance users. As a result, Finance users will start to receive Agent error and warning notifications and can now set a custom notification setting.
Policy deletions take affect immediately after the Agent receives and processes the notification. If an active user is no longer covered by a corporate or group system Agent configuration policy, default Agent preferences take effect.
