View items pending backup

This tab lists up to the first 10,000 pending items based on the current sort criteria. By default, the tab sorts items by Last Backed Up value, in descending order. From the Pending tab, you can view individual items awaiting backup or remove specific ones from your backup set if administrative policy allows.

TIP: If you keep Backup Status open during a backup, to see the most recent status values, click Refresh.

To view items pending backup

  1. To further explore or manage items in the list, you can do the following:

    • View an item in Windows Explorer or the macOS Finder.

      To open the folder that contains a particular item, right-click the item, and then click Show in Explorer (on Windows) or Show in Finder (on macOS).

    • To remove an item, right-click it, and then click Remove from Backup. In the confirmation prompt, click Remove.

      Although the Agent no longer backs up the item you remove, Connected retains its most recent copy so you can access or restore it, if necessary.

    NOTE: If you select multiple items, only menu options that apply to all selected items are available.
