file. Administrative policies define the types of files that you can download. See download size limits.
Backup set files
You can download files and folders of any size from your backup set. However, attempting to download either extremely large files or folders containing a very large number of items over a slow internet connection might cause the download process to timeout and fail. If this occurs, select fewer items and attempt the download again.
Sync files
The web application lets you download files of any size from your sync folder. However, it limits the download of folders to the following sizes:
- Maximum size of contents (uncompressed): 10 GB
- Maximum number of files and folders, including the folder selected: 100
- Maximum number of nested folder levels: 5
If you try to download a folder that exceeds any of these limits, the application displays a message. Adjust your selection accordingly, and then try to download the folder again. For example, if the message indicates that your selection exceeds the supported number of nested folder levels, try selecting a folder that is located one or more levels below the folder currently selected.
TIP: To ensure that you download the correct file, you can view it first. The web application lets you view many common types of file, up to 50 MB in size. To view a file, click its name.
