Backup Status report reference

The Backup Status report shows the backup status of devices for users who are active or on-hold. The online version of the report contains up to 500 rows of data that match your search criteria. The report's CSV file contains the complete data set.

The following table describes the report's columns.

Device Id N/A The unique device ID.
Device Name Device

The name that the user or administrator assigned to the device. For example: MyComputer or JDoe-Laptop1.

Customer Id N/A The unique customer ID of the user who owns the device.
Group Id N/A The unique group ID of the user.
Group Name N/A The name of the group to which the user belongs.
User Id N/A The unique ID of the user.
User Name User

The user's first and last name.

Email Address N/A

The user's email address.

Agent Version N/A The version of the Agent installed on the device.
OS Name N/A The name of the device's operating system.
Platform Type Platform Type

The general operating system platform for this device. (WINDOWS or MAC)

Last Agent Activity Last Agent Activity

The last time that the Agent sent activity status for the device, formatted as follows:

  • CSV file. UTC time
  • Online. Browser's local time

If the field is empty, the Agent has yet to send its first status—typically because you ran the report after the Agent registered the device but before it sent its first status. If this is the case, waiting a little while before you run the report again should give the Agent time to send its status so that the report can populate this field.

Protected - Count Protected The number of files already backed up and stored in Connected.
Protected - Size Protected The total size, in bytes, of files already backed up and stored in Connected.
Pending - Count Pending The number of new or modified files that the Agent needs to back up.
Pending - Size Pending The total size, in bytes, of new or modified files that the Agent needs to back up.
Temporarily Failed - Count N/A

The number of files that failed to back up and which the Agent will automatically try to back up again.

Temporarily Failed - Size N/A

The total size, in bytes, of files that failed to back up and which the Agent will automatically try to back up again.

Permanently Failed - Count N/A

The number of files the Agent failed to back up because of errors that have persisted across all automated backup attempts allotted to each file.

Permanently Failed - Size N/A

The total size, in bytes, of files the Agent failed to back up because of errors that have persisted across all automated backup attempts allotted to each file.

N/A Error Count

The total number of temporarily and permanently failed files the Agent did not back up. ((Temporarily Failed - Count) + (Permanently Failed - Count))

 

Last Backup Completed N/A

The last time, in UTC format, that the Agent completed a backup regardless of whether any errors occurred.

Last Good Backup N/A

The last time, in UTC format, that the Agent completed a backup without any errors.

Last Windows User State Backup Last Windows User State Backup

The last time the Agent successfully backed up a Windows user state (.mig) file for the device. If a .mig file for the device has never been backed up, the column is empty.

Date formats are as follows:

  • CSV file. UTC time
  • Online. Browser's local time

NOTE: Reports contain this column only if the device's backup policy has the Back up Windows user state files (.mig) option enabled.
