Share files using a web browser

To share files and folders

  1. Click the FILES tab, and then click the tile that represents the item's location.

    For example, to share a file from a device-specific backup set, click the BACKUP tile for that device.

  2. Find the items that you want to share.

  3. Select one or more items, and then click SHARE (share icon).

    If multiple versions of a file exist, you can share any of its active versions. To view all available versions, select the file, and then click VERSION HISTORY (version history icon). If you share a folder, Connected automatically shares the latest version of its files. To select multiple items, press and hold either the Command (macOS) or Ctrl (Windows) key while you click each item. To select a group of contiguous items, select the first item, and then press the Shift key while you click the last item.

  1. Click SHARE.

    The web application shares your items or lets you know if it encountered a problem. You can check the current status of your shares on the SHARING tab.
