Your span of administrative control
Connected tightly controls administrative privileges through roles to ensure that only the appropriate set of authorized people can manage or access the data of other users. The information in this section identifies which users and groups you can manage based on your role. Collectively, these users and groups define your span of administrative control.
TIP: If you have forgotten your assigned role, you can find it in your Connected profile. To view your profile, in the upper-right corner of the Connected web application, click your name, and then click My Profile.
You can perform the following tasks only on users and groups under your span of administrative control:
- Create, update, place on hold, delete, or reactive users
- Move active users to another group
- Move a group if all members of it and its subgroups are under you control
- Delete and reactivate user devices (if you have access to data of others)
- View report data
- Access
