Change Agent notification settings
Typically, the Agent runs silently in the background while it automatically backs up files. However, certain events that occur trigger notification messages that the Agent briefly displays on your desktop. If administrative policy allows, you can change which types of notifications the Agent displays.
To change Agent notification settings

Access the Agent's preference settings. See how.
Right-click the Connected icon (
) in the Windows notification area (for macOS, click the icon in the menu bar), and then click Preferences.

In the Desktop notifications list on the General tab, select one of the following:
- Show all notifications (default)
- Show only errors and warnings
- Show only errors
- Don't show desktop notifications
- On Windows-based computers, click OK.
