Device Log report (Customer-level administrators only)
The Device Log report provides information about Agent activity gathered from Agent log files of users
- Automatically. Every 24 hours, Agents send their information to Connected.
- User initiated. On request of Support personnel, users can upload Agent information to Connected through an Agent option.
The information in this report can help you to determine whether Agent failures are related to configuration, implementation, or environmental causes. For information about the data this report provides, see Device Log report reference.
To run the Device Log report
- Click the REPORTS tab, and then click Device Log.

To limit the report's results, specify search criteria. All criteria is case insensitive and optional.

Group. Name of the group that contains users whose Agent log information you want to view.

User. Email address of the user whose Agent log information you want to view.
To find a user, enter any portion of the user's first name, last name, or email address. The list updates to display all users that match your text.

Date Range. Date range (inclusive) in which the Agent activity occurred. You can enter dates manually in MM/DD/YYYY format or select them from a calendar. The default start date, which you can change or clear, is 30 days prior to the current (local browser) date.

Logging Level. Level of Agent log information that you want to view.

Logger Name. Name of the Agent logger that logged the information. This value is case sensitive.

Message. Any part of the message that the Agent logged. This value is case sensitive.
This field lets you refine your search results based on a specific message. For example, suppose that you notice a specific message in report results and want to see details about other times that Agents generated it. To do so, run the report again using any part of the message text as search criteria.
To clear all search criteria, click CLEAR.

- Click RUN.

(Optional) Perform the following actions to refine, export, or filter report data:

To refine the data, modify the search criteria, and then click UPDATE.

To export the full set of tabular data to a CSV file, click DOWNLOAD.

To resize a column, click and drag the separator to the right of the column's name to the left or right.

To sort the data by a particular column, click that column's
icon, and then click Sort Ascending or Sort Descending.

To hide or show individual columns, click the
icon, and then click the names of the columns whose visibility you want to toggle .
The list uses the
icon to indicate visible columns and the
icon to indicate hidden ones.
TIP: To quickly hide a particular column, click its
icon, and then click Hide Column.
