Sync overview

Connected keeps your devices in sync so that you can access files from anywhere, at any time. It works with the following devices:

• Windows and macOS-based desktops and laptops. Connected Agents automatically keep these types of computers in sync. For details, see Sync your computers.
• Supported web browsers. The Connected web application lets you access and manage your sync files through a web browser from any device. For details, see Access your sync files from a web browser.

By default, Connected syncs any file except a few that are typically used exclusively by the operating system. To add additional restrictions to what users can sync, you must create a sync policy. For information, see Sync policy overview.
