Backup Status report

The Backup Status report shows the backup-related status of devices for users under your administrative control who are active or on hold. Information for each device includes the time that the data was collected as well as the number of files backed up (protected), pending backup, and not backed up because of an error. The system gathers data used by this report every four hours. For information about the data this report provides, see Backup Status report reference.

To run the Backup Status report

  1. Click the REPORTS tab, and then click Backup Status.
  2. To limit the report, specify the following search criteria fields. All fields are optional.

    • Group. Name of the group that contains the users you want to include in the report.
    • User. Email address of the user that you want to include in the report.

      To find a user, enter any portion of the user's first name, last name, or email address. The list updates to display all users that match your text.

    To clear all search criteria, click CLEAR.

  3. Click RUN.

    The report is interactive. To see the profile of a particular user, click the user's name. To view backup-related error information for a device, click its error count to see the related Device Log report.

  4. (Optional) Perform the following actions to refine, export, or filter report data:

    • To refine the data, modify the search criteria, and then click UPDATE.

    • To export the full set of tabular data to a CSV file, click DOWNLOAD.

    • To resize a column, click and drag the separator to the right of the column's name to the left or right.

    • To sort the data by a particular column, click that column's sort icon, and then click Sort Ascending or Sort Descending.

    • To hide or show individual columns, click the menu icon, and then click the names of the columns whose visibility you want to toggle .

      The list uses the check mark icon to indicate visible columns and the X icon to indicate hidden ones.

      TIP: To quickly hide a particular column, click its sort icon, and then click Hide Column.
