Restore a user's data

In addition to restoring your own files, you can restore the files of active devices on behalf of any Connected user within your span of administrative control.

Restore a user's data

To restore files for another user, follow the same two-step process you use to restore your own files:

• Step 1: Create a restore request.

• Step 2: Start the restore request, which notifies the device's Agent to begin the restore process.

  You can either start the request when creating it or leave it pending and start it at a later time.

Connected lets you perform either step for the user or the whole process.

Manage a user's restore requests

You can manage restore requests for a user's device regardless of who creates the requests. Managing restore requests for a user is similar to managing your own.
